Go Karts and Pocket Bikes!

Monday, April 26th, 2010

Go karts is a great hobby for many of all ages and even more than ever we are seeing go karts as being more than just a hobby but a full time career. There are many racing circuits as racing is extremely popular in the south.

Matter of fact, if it runs and it rides you can be fairly certain that it’s in Texas, they are racing things right from lawn mowers to anything else that can be rigged up to ride.

Go karts are swooping through the nation and there is no end in sight; it is more popular today than it ever was and a lot of this is due in part to the new fad of small dirt bikes called pocket bikes. It seems the smaller the desire and want for the rest of our goods on earth to be small like cell phones, computers, gaming systems that the fad follows to motorcycles and go karts as well.

Since they are already small they have the luck of being popularized and then the fall of its popularity only to have it come back even stronger on the way back up. The reason for this is because, like everything else, they go through phases in and out and in and out with the rise and fall of similar machines.

For example, when the pocket bikes came out the go karts saw a huge rise in sales and popularity perhaps due to the price difference or maybe it just reminded people of the fascination that they already had and the spawn of these new little bikes just reminded those that love the go karts to get back into it. The rise and fall of these machines just follows a similar pattern of go kart fans across the nation and even internationally.

Searching For Cheap Go Karts For Sale?

Sunday, April 25th, 2010

Hi guys!

Just like you, I was also looking for go karts for sale before. It was me and my sons passion and I always desired to buy go karts for them. At the beginning, I guessed finding a good go kart will be easy. But merely after searching and comparing costs, I realized that it would cost me so much and even the used ones are still expensive.

After numerous hunts for affordable and inexpensive karts, I thought about making them myself. Having an architectural plan or guide in making go karts will make things easy. Thus, instead of buying go karts I opted to buy a kart building plan instead.

I then bought a simple to follow go kart building guide. I first check into the diagrams and pictures prior to anything else just to make myself acquainted with what the appearance of the kart after completion. Gathering all the required parts and stuffs is hassle-free since everything is stated on the guide plus the best places where to buy them too. When all the materials are bought, the next thing I managed to do was the frame layout. Cheap Karts For SaleI again relied on the detailed instructions given on the go kart building guide. In less than a week, I eventually made my first ever go kart without spending too much money. My two sons are both thrilled that they wanted me to make them their own go karts too.

What I like the most about constructing my own kart is that I could customize it to whatever I want it to look like. Even during making my sons go karts, I still was able to build them a safe and secured one. And if you’re thinking of buying a go kart too, you should also consider building them yourself. The go kart building guide I used is so simple, detailed, and very complete that even an average person can start building go karts without any problems.

Art Ingles built the first Go Kart in the year 1956 in Los Angeles. You will be amazed to know that the speed of this Go Kart can be as high as 85 miles per hour. As far as the weight is concerned, it was from 165 to 175 lbs. Most people think that the Go Karts are meant for the children only. However you should know that the Go Kart is also meant for the adults. In Europe there are many leagues which are especially for adults.

The Go karts are fairly good for all type of riders. There are some of them which are excellent for an eight year old kid. One model of such Karts is the Razor ground force electric Go Kart. Go Karting, an Italian Passion

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

With the recent success of Ducati Corse in the World Motorcycle category “Moto GP”, engines made in Italy have shown, together with the “custom” Ferrari, to be designed to be regarded as leaders around the globe.

Indeed, a bit like in all other areas, the Italian manufacturing presents as well as a high quality product also the passion and determination that distinguishes us in achieving excellence and objectives.

In this regard, even in Go Kart production Italian companies are moving and promoting all over the world, thanks to a great go-kart production using the best engines, components and accessories.

But perhaps this fascinating world of competition with mini-cars, called Kart or Go-Kart, is not well known and less popular because of the two sports quoted above: motorcycle and Formula One.

Indeed, karting is the simplest form of motorsports run with small cars with essential shape: tubular steel frame without suspension, wheels and engine. The sport, just for fun transmitting in goal, was born as a hobby but now is a step “almost mandatory” for those who wish to embark on a career as a professional pilot. Not surprisingly, the latest F1 exited from its “breeding garden” of the go-kart (Schumacher, Senna, Prost, Alonso, just to name a few).

The kart was born in America, as often happens, for economic motivations in 1956 where cars race became increasingly expensive and the number of participants (and especially the audience) was so narrow to seek alternatives. In these terms, the Karting was the dowry of remedy, at least in some respects, this situation by proposing solutions extremely funny but also economic and accessible to all fans of engines.

In Italy the phenomenon develops and explodes in the early ’70s where simple manual constructions moved towards specialization of some companies in the production and sales of Go-Kart competition. The first racetracks were born and passion spreads quickly from young to older who do not disdain the emotions that only a sports car like the Go-Kart can feel.

Recently Kart manufacturers have always researched and developed new solutions, improving each component of competition mini-cars with high technology spare parts able to greatly improve the performance and consistency of the same in sports and competition areas.

Finally we have only to indulge in this passion with friends and colleagues in breathtaking races, perhaps without exaggerating for the weak of heart.
